A State-of-the-Art Culinary Lab is under construction at CHS. Pictured is the new kitchen which is will provide students a culinary education in a top-quality facility. Also pictured is one of the old, dated Home-Ec rooms. The old rooms are being demolished to provide room for the new kitchen, a new modern Home-Ec classroom/study lab, and a cafe for the culinary program.

A recent addition to the CHS campus is the 'Caretaker's Cottage'. The Cottage is at the western edge of the south parking lot at CHS. Construction took place over 2 years and was a project involving various CHS Voc-Ed program students, the FUSD Maintenance Dept. and outside contractors. The Cottage is currently occupied by a couple who work at CHS in a custodial/security capacity.
