Marshall Magnet Arts Programs

Marshall believes:

Every student, regardless of economic status, has a right to and a need for direct experiences in the arts; Arts programs increase academic achievement, help decrease youth involvement in negative behavior and improve children's attitudes about themselves and their future; Involvement in the Arts contributes significantly to improved critical thinking problem solving and decision making while fostering higher-order thinking skills; The scope and quality of the Arts instruction/experience must be excellent; Finally, the programs will celebrate and utilize the community's diverse, cultural backgrounds while seeking mutually beneficial collaborations with area Arts entities and individuals.
