Welcome to Student Support Services!
Overview
Student Support Services is the umbrella under which special needs and gifted students are serviced. We currently serve approximately 1800 special needs students in special education programs and classrooms throughout the district. Students fall into many different special education categories, ranging from emotional disabilities to physical disabilities to speech therapy needs and all stages in between.
The different programs that make up Student Support Services include:
- Assistive Technology
- Counseling
- Health Services
- Homebound Education
- Occupational and Physical Therapies
- Preschool
- Prevention
- Psychology
- Special Education
- Speech Therapy
- Talented and Gifted Education
